【摘要】:Highwayagencies,equipmentmanufacturers,andotherorganizationscanusethisguidetoclassifythemeasuringcapabilitiesofpavementconditionsurveyequipmentthatoperatesattrafficspeedsandcollectsomeofthedatausefulincharacterizingpavementconditions.Theverticalmeasurementresolution,sampleinterval,andcrackwidthcapabilitiesasspecifiedinSection5aresubjecttouserverification.1.1Thisguidecoversinformationforclassifyingthemeasurementcapabilityofpavementconditionsurveyequipmentorinstrumentationthatmeasureslongitudinalprofile,transverseprofileorcrackingofpavementsurfaceswhileoperatingatorneartrafficspeeds.1.2Themeasuringequipmentorinstrumentation,addressedbytheguide,samplesandstoresmeasurementdatawhileoperatingatorneartrafficspeeds.1.3Thisguidedoesnotaddressequipmentthatoperatesattrafficspeedsbutisincapableofmeasuringprofileorindividualcrackcharacteristics,suchasresponse-typeroughnessmeasuringsystemsandsemi-automateddistressrecordingsystems.1.4Thisguideprovidesmeasurementcriteriaandclassificationforuseinarangeofapplications.1.5Themeasurementcriteriaapplytolongitudinalprofile,transverseprofile,orthecrackingofpavementsurfaces.1.6Thisguidedoesnotaddresstheprocessingofmeasureddata.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
