【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetensiletestingofaramidyarns,cordstwistedfromsuchyarns,andfabricswovenfromsuchcords.Theyarnorcordmaybewoundoncones,tubes,bobbins,spools,orbeams;maybewovenintofabric;ormaybeinsomeotherform.Themethodsincludetestingprocedureonlyandincludenospecificationsortolerances.1.2ThesetestmethodsshowthevaluesinbothSIandinch-poundunits.SIunitsisthetechnicallycorrectnameforthesystemofmetricunitsknownastheInternationalSystemofUnits.Inch-poundunitsisthetechnicallycorrectnameforthecustomaryunitsusedintheUnitedStates.Thevaluesstatedineitheracceptablemetricunitsorotherunitsshallberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesexpressedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyofeachother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.1.3Thisstandardincludesthefollowingtestmethods:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
